Death, A Love Story
This is a tribute to a longtime client who died in January after a two year cancer journey (she'd say, "battle"). She always said to me that if any part of her story could help anyone else, she wanted to be transparent about her life. I've changed names in this piece of course and omitted or changed some details.
I think people imagine I must have some wisdom from working in death and dying all these years, but I am taken off guard all the time, and walk around in some weird mixture of gratitude, joy, and sadness.

Bodies and Rest
This is a reflection on our rituals surrounding death - my experience both personal and professional. I hope you find something comforting or some way to connect in these varied experiences.
